How to prepare Family Porridge


  • Measure 60g (approx. 5 heaped tablespoons) of family porridge flour into a sufuria with 500ml of cold water
  • Stir with a wooden spoon until smooth
  • Bring to boil while stirring continuously
  • Lower heat and simmer for 5 – 10 minutes
  • Add milk for extra creaminess and sugar to taste
  • Ready to serve
