Eddy was previously the Managing Director of KenGen, and is currently the chairman of the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), and Telkom Kenya. He is the Chairman of the Investment Committee of Aureos East Africa Fund. He also sits on the Board of Stanbic Bank Kenya, Real Insurance Company (EA) Ltd and Nerifa Holdings Ltd. Mr. Njoroge holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Makerere University
Zephaniah Gitau Mbugua is a founder member and currently the Chief Executive Officer of Abcon Group of Companies, a diversified group of companies involved in chemicals, and manufacture of industrial detergents. He is also the Chairman of Trans Century Ltd; East African Cables (K) Ltd., Kewberg SA, Zeniki Investments and Development Bank of Kenya, among others. Mr. Mbugua has a BSc in Chemistry and Mathematics from Makerere University.
James Gitoho is the Senior Partner at Triad Architects; He has also served the profession, business community and society at large in various other capacities and he currently sits in the Board of APA Insurance Company, a position he has held since 2004 as well as a Director of Proctor & Allan EA Ltd amongst others. He has previously served the Board of Registration of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (1991 – 1992) and the Association of Professional Societies in East Africa as its Chairman between 1995 and 1998. Mr. Gitoho has Bachelor of Architecture (Hons), University of Nairobi (B. Arch); – Fellow Member, Architectural Association of Kenya (F.A.A.K(A)) and Registered Architect, Kenya.
Ngugi Kiuna is the Managing Director of Maxam Ltd, Distributors of Heineken beer and other FMCG Brands in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. He Chairs the Board at BOC Kenya, UBA Bank Kenya and XRX Technologies Ltd. He is also a Director of several other companies including Transcentury Ltd where he serves the Investment and Audit Committees. After graduating with Bsc (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering in Portsmouth, UK, he returned home to pursue a career initially in sales before moving on to General Management. He worked for many years as the General Manager/Executive Director of the John Deere division of Holman Kenya before joining Diversey in 1990 as Managing Director. He stayed with Diversey for 16 years, developing the Business across East, Central and West Africa to significant market eminence before leaving to start Maxam in 2006.
David Kamau has been appointed Chief Executive Officer at Proctor & Allan EA Limited.
He has over 15 years experience in both the pharmaceutical and the Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industries. He has extensive regional sales & marketing experience having previously worked for Astra Zeneca as a sales manager in Kenya & Uganda, new markets exports manager for HACO Tiger Brands covering the COMESA region and also served as Country manager in Tanzania.
He joins Proctor & Allan from HACO Tiger Brands where his last assignment was as the company’s Marketing Director in charge of HTB’s brands marketing & innovation strategies across East Africa.
David holds a BSc degree from Moi University and an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and has been awarded the designation of Chartered Marketer SA by the Marketing Association of South Africa (CMSA).
